Our history and our commitments
The Derhy house is first of all a love at first sight for India, a love story then a family story.
Yvette and René Derhy began importing Indian fabrics in 1969, and became a creative house following a canceled order. The company initially developed by offering “Kurtas” tunics in bright colors in the hippie style trend of the 70s. Derhy imposed its nomadic, bohemian and colorful style throughout France.
Creations Made In France
All models are created in the studios
Parisians: the cradle of creation!
DERHY collaborates with
stylists from all over the world (Japan, Italy, Brazil, etc.) for an ever more unique and cosmopolitan vision.
Bohemian and ethnic romance
Use of natural materials
Cotton, linen, silk veil, viscose… DERHY puts
largely on plant materials &
natural for his creations.
A committed brand…
From its suppliers...
Our suppliers are our partners. DERHY has built a long-lasting relationship and has worked for more than 40 years with the same teams in France and Asia in factories that are particularly attentive to the well-being of staff and modern equipment.
And for future generations!
Two of our most loyal partners are committed
socially in India with our participation. We
We created with one of our partners an embroidery school to provide education and train young children in shanty towns in craft trades. With another of our partners, we built an orphanage in the suburbs of Delhi.
Built over time with lasting values.
Derhy innovates and renews itself season after season while continuing to carefully choose its raw materials. Maison Derhy is still managed by the family, continuing 50 years of know-how. The original values are still there, even strengthening over time.
A bohemian and committed brand... for the environment
